The Why of Trolls

That’s something that’s hard for me to grasp. The New York Times has an illuminating article on internet trolls, as noted by Jon Lebkowsky and others.

From the article: “All vigorous debates shade into trolling at the perimeter; it is next to impossible to excise the trolling without snuffing out the debate.”

I really don’t want to agree with this statement, but it’s hard not to.
